You slowly see the rods/cones in your eyes essentially turn off (as they lose oxygen) which fades into sparkling colors which eventually just becomes all white and you contemplate the fact that you're dying all throughout this. It's at that point that things become murky nothingness (up until I revived). I think you're right to some extent in as far as if time is a dimension and all you consist of intrinsically is the ship of Theseus which is your continued mental narrative of whatever sustained chemical reaction/transfer of electrons which is you will always exist at some point in time. So you're functionally condemned to relive your life infinitely.
Moral of the story I almost died and I think you should just try to live a good life because the possibility that living a lonely, shitty, horrible life is something that you'll exist in eternally should be enough of a motivation to not be a bad person or whatever.
