I think Splatoon was the first real multiplayer game I played. And probably the last too, since I bought splatoon 3 after loving the testfire and being away from the series for many years, but the sweatiness and time dedication to try and rank up is just too much.
Only multiplayer game I've played consistently with friends is Terraria. I guess I've always just preferred singleplayer.
