Why is Youtube such a garbage platform for vtubers?
Only Hololive and Nijisanji males do well there, even if they are absolute mediocre.
Every vtuber there either graduates, is struggling to stay live or moves to Twitch, which is a dying platform streamers hate, despite Youtube is the far bigger platform.
Why doesn't Youtube do more for vtubers despite they are some of the biggest earners?
It feels like Youtube treats new accounts are potential bots and set them to zero growth, even if they stream for years.
There are only a handful of western vtubers who break 1k viewers in the entire platform.
Even vtubers like Filian who is one of the vtuber with most subs on Youtube doesn't stream there, which is fucking stupid, same for other bigger Twitch vtubers with hundreds of thousands of subs who still chose a shitty Twitch partnership over starting streaming on Youtube.
