just putting it on metal would give a little bit of hydrogen but the concentration in air would be way to small for it to even catch on fire
you can make a bomb using drain cleaner but that doesn't work with fire, that is just putting drain cleaner and aluminum foil in a closed bottle and since it produces gas it expands fast and the pressure blows the bottle up
