Why would you want coco to return? I mean she quit because hololive doesnt suit her content anymore. Let the girl go and if you like her follow her next persona. Simple as that.

Assuming same events, VTubing wouldn't have caught on to western normalfags, because Niji actively rejected EOP influence, so it'd have remained a nip thing until some burger corporation noticed the potential and debuted western vtubers, probably with Code Miko's technology and appearance.

Well, Code Miko is trying hard to push her tech, so I'm pretty sure some company will bite in the near future.
I'm talking about the timeline where Hololive didn't get popular, so for your average western normalfag, ENVTubing would be synonymous with pic related. Open at your own risk (and yes, mods, it counts as a vtuber).

For Coco to not want to leave, Cover would need to do a complete 180 at least for their JP branch and stop being a idol company and become a Kiryukai company. So no it won't happen and both Coco and Hololive are better off going seperate ways.

Miracle is the right word for sure because nothing short of a miracle would unfuck this situation. It would require the chinks to grow a conscience and back down, or their government finally tracks them all down for using illegal VPNs and drags them to their new forever home in a work camp AND it would require Cover to evolve their corporate culture in a way that allows their talents creative freedom while still being able to defend them in the public eye, which would be a massive step for a passive Japanese company. But even if they did that the Taiwan situation shows that some people will never forgive and will work day and night to fuck you over regardless of what you do so they would also need help dealing with the anti problem from the platforms (youtube eventually got around to it, twitter is still useless). Only if all of these conditions can be met would Coco even possibly rejoin hololive as a streamer, but all of that would require a miracle that makes the Christmas Miracle look like a joke by comparison.
