I agree that she was in the pit of despair around 6-7 months because of the back to back incidents of Aloe leaving, the janitor drama shit, antis trying to stir shit and the chinks larping a crusade which obviously didn't help things, all of which happened after she had believed she joined a good company after leaving her old stressful one. No shit it wouldn't get her down but that's the thing people get sad when shit happens to them but with time they get over it just as Polka has. And I can't help but get mad when they equate Polka's co-dependence thing as depression when it's obvious it's not if you actually read her community posts and watch her mengen streams.
If you want to see what actual depression is go look at the state of Shion right now, Polka was nowhere near that state but since it fits with people's le depressed clown memes so they just ran with it and never stopped basically turning Polka's character into the stereotype you see getting posted now.
