>>49901048>>49900974we never did anything in the first place that would warrant us getting banned. changing our name to /oishi/ or /sbg/ is fine, that doesn't change our brand, but branding is important. it symbolizes the idea that we represent. we aren't "weird vtuber" fans, we like a very specific kind of weird. the kind of weird you get from almost every other thread doesn't apply in quite the same way. people don't know where we are, they might not find us if we have a different brand, but if the idea is the same, they'll find us eventually. rebranding means losing part of our culture, renaming, or using alternative names does not. we should make a few proper named threads every now and then just to let others know we are still kicking, because everyone thinks we are dead. at this point, the custodians probably think the same thing, so it will work out to our advantage for a while. once they know what this thread represents, they'll kill it too, regardless of whether or not we are doing anything to justify it.
