Very simple question today: Do you consider vtubers playing traditional games such as Mahjong, chess or TTRPGs to be interesting, or do you think it's sorta boring?

It's a real shame Tabletop Simulator is off limits for any of the JP corpos. Would love to see them playing actual boardgames and not Ubisoft Monopoly.

TTRPGs can range between incredibly interesting to okay. It depends entirely on who, what, and how it’s being played. Majohng is trash imo, but other board games are fine.
Imo it depends entirely on wether the people involved can keep the energy, banter and RP.

Vtubing is a diverse and versatile medium and wasting all that to just streaming low effort videogames is a travesty. /tg/ has been my homeboard and I appreciate vtubers that try their hand at ttrpgs, especially if it's not DnD. Mori has the balls to run WoD and then GUN instead of following the normalfag crowd with 5e and I'm glad for that.
Also, I want MTG and Yugioh streams. Maaaybe Hearthstone too.

While they can't play boardgames via TTS, they are still actual boardgames turned vidya on steam like Root and >Gloomhaven. A Root stream would be amazing and would even break language barriers between EN and JP.

So the thing is, I don't like watching people play mahjong, chess or ttrpgs, so a vtuber doing it isn't going to interest me.
I'll play them and I like them, sure; but watching other people play is boring as shit.
