as for the JP side, its Kizuna at the top, followed closely by Kiryu Coco, then a tossup between Pekora, Fubuki, Korone and Matsuri, with the rest following closely behind.. They all have their own unique charm point of sorts, and quite frankly i'm annoyed at the notion of 'forced idolization' that seems to strive at stripping them of character for the sake of appeasing sponsorships, toxic critics, antis and the like.
Though, personally, if I was half a mind to try my hand at becoming a VTuber even as a guy, i'd go the independent route like ProjektMelody and make everything myself because fuck the digitrevx types.
