>>50914179I want to say yes but the actual answer is "it depends". The maplestory everybody grew up with is long gone and the game, despite being far more successful nowadays, is also basically strictly for solo play until you reach level 220.
Everything between level 1 - 210 is just a tutorial for your character, and from level 210 - 220, your main focus would be pouring obscene amounts of mesos into powering yourself up.
If you have lots of time (you don't need to spend a single dollar on NX if you play on the Reboot server, which 58% of the playerbase does), don't mind the loneliness from level 1-220, and want a game that you can essentially grind in indefinitely, Maplestory can be pretty good. The only reason I began it again was because I wanted something to play while watching streams myself, which Maplestory fulfills spectacularly.
There is also an event happening on the 14th that gives everybody the option to "burn" a character, which means that every single time you level up, you get an additional two levels for free, all the way up until level 250. It'll also give you armors and weapons suitable for the level along the way so it'd be a good "jumping in" point for a new person.
