Fauna kept checking the kroniie mounted on the wall of the woodland penthouse, anxiously checking the time.
"It's past three in the morning, where on earth is she?"
She clenched the ruffles of her nightdress impatiently and tears were threatening to well up in her luscious green eyes
"uuuuuuu...."
The vegan meal she had prepared for her had long since gone cold by now.
Suddenly there was a harsh banging on the door that startled Fauna, making her jump upright to attention.
"ummm.... hello....?" she called nervously. There was a brief pause. Then,
"Open up the fucking door, maaan...!"
"K-Kronii...?" Fauna asked, her voice ever so slightly quavering with a mixture of fear and concern, "It's already unlocked."
The door burst open. The Time Warden staggered in, almost collapsing to the floor before leaning against the wall. Her once sharply regal clothes were unusually tattered. Her once cold precise gaze was wavering and her once brilliantly pale complexion was flushed.
But there was something else, something that instantly made Fauna quiver with anger; barely restrained behind her calm, whispering voice,
"Kronii... have you been drinking again?"
When the Warden answered, the distinctive reek of liquor spilled from her mouth, her words slurring, even more so than usual,
"Yeah maan... so fucking what? And you know what else?"
Fauna said nothing.
"I've been FUCKING Mumei too, you mad bro?"
Fauna quickly turned her back to her.
"I can't believe you."
"Get me another fucking drink from the fridge, bitch!" Kronii snapped, seemingly unaware how loud and startling her voice sounded.
Fauna sighed deeply.
"No Kronii. I'm sick of this-"
Before she could finish, Kronii stumbled towards her,
"I said..."
Fauna came to and found herself on the floor.
"Huh?"
Her cheek was stinging intensely and she had fallen.
No, she had been knocked down.
Thick tears welled in her eyes.
"uuuuuuuuuu...."
It was happening again.
"Kronii, don't" she begged.
But she knew how this had to end. Before Kronii approached her again, Fauna quickly unlaced her nightdress.
"Ok..." she said bashfully, now naked in the dim moonlight barely seeping in through the hallway window.
"Let's..." Fauna was barely choking back tears.
"Let's go to bed then."
Kronii cackled an ugly and dry laugh, wavering back and forth.
"Good kitten."
