a light novel series unironically helped me stabalize myself. i saw characters my age achieve more, show they care about others and have my same feelings -- despite how they may appear -- and, most important of all, live.
that series gave me something to read everyday and a feeling of accomplishment when i finished it. i had long been suffering from such a bad depression that it completely smacked the fuck out've my highschool academic career. went from missing no days of school -- my teacher had to tell me i should go to the nurses office whenever i get a migraine, after i threw up in the middle of her class due to my dedication not to miss class -- to missing twenty five days in a single semester.
what's deadly about /pol/ is it preys on some truths. but those truths... they only occupy a minutia of the human experience, and are usually employed out of desperation, not choice. beyond that you've to accept you're not the next leader of the world -- think small first.
