Thing is, he and Magni are not in Hollywood at all, I don't think working for a Japanese talent agency qualifies them as part of that scene. If they were apart of SAG-AFTRA, the strike would only prevent them from filming any kind of television program or film by a corporate entity. Since this doesn't fall under that purview, it wouldn't be that. Even the timelines of when the strike started and they went on "hiatus" don't match. I do think there is some teeth to them holding out because of something on the contract. Though this whole thing also smells like a 2nd Rushia level event, which soured a lot of Westerners on Cover and Hololive when she was (rightly) fired.
