Mental illness isn't a zoomer thing, it's just that people didn't always understand how to deal with it. They'd just end up as severe alcoholics, drug addicts, or decide to kill themselves. Saying it wasn't around is false, friends and relatives just tried to hide it. It's hard to tell the difference sometimes between someone that is just lazy and that has serious mental issues.

many reasons, some talents join corpos specifically because they dream of performing on stage, so finally getting your chance to live out your dream only to have it snatched out from under you can really sting, on top of that it's not like the concert is a one and done deal, they have to train physically, learn dance routines, learn the songs and improve their singing voices all in preparation for the event, especially if they're a first timer, and they have to make an open schedule for all of it, only for it to be a waste of time and effort.
