A lot of small corpo viewers were originally HoloEN fans possibly going back to debut who just got bored or annoyed with the direction the branch went. 2 years of no new girls and half of them not streaming much will force a lot of people to explore other options. However EN3 will guaranteed pull some back into the fold if only temporarily. Really depends on how they pan out.

The only logo I recognize is EIEN because they were smart enough to put the name in the graphic. I do not, however, believe they are smart enough to survive; even if EN3 wasn't happening. Assuming the black P is Phase, and not Prism, they will survive. Idol is probably one of those logos and will also survive since, like Phase, they are too big to just die overnight at this point. They may not be massive names, but it would still take a wactor-tier yab to doom either of them outright. Everyone on that list needs to work harder on brand recognition, and everyone that isn't Idol needs to work harder on promoting their talents.

The only thing kawa does that is notable is handle merch for Merry and Punkalopi. Also going to cons and doing meet and greets, they went to AX when the likes of Phase didn't.....and had a cardboard cutout stolen from them.

Will exist longer than some of the others to replace their spot on the small corpo chart due to being new and doing "just well enough." I think its too soon to tell for this one.

These fuckers just don't die despite falling off hard over the last year. Probably wont take off anywhere, but will probably still be hanging around. Shiki is going off to do music things for Sony, so she'll probably be focusing more on music than VTubing.
>Eien
I expect a similar fate that of PixelLink. They'll do better than them, but will likely collapse after a couple years due to internal issues.
>Idol
Has a better marketing plan, and more capitol than the other small corpos. They'll be on a steady incline. Being jews is ironically a plus for them and their funding.
>Phase Connect
This will get controversial, but I prophesize internal issues will cause a collapse within the company. They might not die completely, but will probably see a multi-talent walk out. Having a company of self called "sad girls" is a ticking time bomb.
>Kawaii
Despite their efforts recently with the 3D concert, they've lacked any reward from the experience. New talents are hesitant to apply to the company after the loss of gen 3. There are also rumors of clique behavior and management issues at kawaii that will eventually cause issues. I don't see Kawaii lasting.
>VReverie
has been around long enough to say that I haven't seen much growth from them. To me they've become what Amber Glow was compared to other corpos. I don't see them making it 3 years.
>V&U
They just put out a new generation a week or so ago. None of which have broken 1k on twitter yet. The models are high quality and the trailer had great animation. I think they will also remain small, but less likely to be dead than VReverie.
>Kawa
will probably rebrand away from being a vtuber agency. Will probably change to solely focus just on merch and providing for VTubers outside their company, and talents will go indie or graduate.

I'd refute the 'sad girl' claim but recently like a third of the talents have been talking about how Phase is like a family to them, and Uruka nearly had a breakdown on stream over the 'sad girls' joke being brought up (which isnt helping with the meme there girl).
but i still dont think they're going anywhere, they have that kinda nich'e that tends to stick around and even outlast bigger companies, but never thrives even once said bigger companies fall.

I can at least say i dont watch hololive and never have (nor ninji or vshojo), so i it wont effect me. wouldn't of even known about the gen3 if someone hadn't come into the phase thread and started trying to talk about it.

i mean, trust as you will, but for example, supposedly Remi used to get locked up in the basement by her dad, and all her family hates her. she is apparently suing them to get her passport back.
im not sure myself, but i think there was some evidence of at least the passport part posted around, which at least gives some potential validity to the other parts.

point is, some may have legitimate reasons for seeing a welcoming community as a family, but my god is it not for healthy reasons.

It looks like Idol quickly overtook Phase. Rin was scouted and she seems to have the tiktok zoomer crowd under her(his?) belt. But there are other great talents there like Yuko, Roca (also scouted), Coni and Fuyo.

The biggest issue is that they are ran by investor who tries to chase the profit of idol. They put in huge investment with continuous ads and animated trailers etc, but didn't get back the investment in term of number. Now, they cut back completely in merch and cover budget when investing in another round for gen 3.
Liora, their most successful girl in the company, was very upset about it and I think she would have left if they didn't agree to at least put in work on 3d and outfits for couple of gen 1.

Honestly, all of them, despite how much this answer makes tribalfags seethe. Unless HoloEN3 managed to snag 5 Kaelas who all stream one after the other every day, there will be some downtime at some point and there are enough girls in those 9 corps to satisfy that downtime, and that's even before taking into account what their content will be, so at best one or another corp will have a slight decrease in their 3view numbers in cash of clashes with interesting streams.

Blind fans and antis have missed the point and see Pippa as a single person when the reality is that Pippa is a group. The law of turnover states that when a high performer leaves, others follow. Pippa leaving Phase would cause a snowball effect of other talents leaving as well. We've seen this with Nijisanji. Only Hololive can survive top performers leaving because other top performers decided to stay and so the herd of lesser talents stayed with them. This is why individualism as a philosophy was a mistake.
