it got so bad that when reddit did its stupid blackout shit, google started getting complaints about how people couldnt get to information they wanted or needed that was on reddit (as if that was somehow under their control) and there are various tech blogs and articles written about this phenomenon
it would probably be harder to find a 4chan user who DIDNT also use reddit in some form at this point
