The problem here is that America is not the entire English speaking world, and America also has a finite number of people. Putting everyone in the same time slot is vying for the attention of the same people between themselves, instead of having different time slots to gain audiences of people that don't fit the same time slot.

OP is confused, members in each gen should coordinate to avoid overlap, members in different gens have no responsibility to avoid each other. Ideally, each gen should cover all the prime time hours anyway. At least that's how it works in JP. In EN it's stretched because of multiple US time zones and EU time zone, but the same rule makes sense.

After their initial management mandated timeslots they are pretty free to stream whenever they like and overlap with whoever they please. There's no actual rules in place for that, though most girls obviously avoid streaming over big events since it could easily be considered rude by the viewers and would negatively impact her own numbers anyways.

These Japanese managers that """need to watch their streams""" aren't there watching the vast majority of the time the JPs stream either. Most of them stream at absolutely ungodly hours literally all the time, far outside of work hours.

It'd be like having every JP gen streaming independently from 6-10PM instead of at any other time. It makes no sense, they're all competing for the same time slot and potential audience.

Well we really have no idea when the EN3s plan on streaming yet.
These first few weeks are just going to be the same mandated timeslots in one big block as usual, it won't be until after 2-4 weeks that they are allowed to branch out from them and stream longer than an hour at a time.

I meant, sure, there are those who dip into morning timeslot (Koyori, Mio, Lamy, Subaru in the weekend), but those are exceptions rather than the norm.

Like Kiara, who only streamed in EU hours half a year in, the JPs you're thinking of are tenured, not freshly debuted. A common trope for building an audience is "Stream at the same timeslot everyday! Do not vary your timeslot!".
I can't say if that actually helps or not, but any of the EN3 members hitting EU hours regularly would either require them to stream without management oversight in the beginning or to vary their slot after they already got viewers.
And EUfags would still lose out in the beginning.
