A lot of people immediately saw the potential, before things had really taken off, and debuted as shark VTubers very quickly after Gura's debut, in some cases merely a week later. And while I'm not a fan of that kind of bandwagoning, what I do respect is the ones who have stuck with it, three years later. It shows me that in the end they weren't in it just to profit, and have continued to stream for years despite the fact that "shark vtuber" did not turn out to be a secret money printer after all. They genuinely enjoy the hobby, which is more than I can say for Gura. So to the sharks who didn't give up and are still keeping at it after all this time, I salute you.
