I'd enter her study and without even lifting her head from the book, she'd ask me what I wanted, when I replied that I bought her some tea, she'd point to a small table beside her and tell me to leave it there. After all, we can't have liquid near the books. So I put the pot on the table and pour her a cup, and go to leave the room. When I'm nearly at the door, she calls out to me and tells me to stop. I turn to face her and she's now turned around looking directly at me. You forgot my hug, she murmurs, holding her arms out a little. Somewhat embarrassed, but also immensely happy, I make my way across the room where I bend over a little and we have an awkward hug where she's seated but I'm standing. I go to pull away from her, so she can get back to her book and she pulls me back towards her with her arms behind my neck. She gives me a quick kiss, smiles at me and looking in my eyes she unwraps her arms from around my neck and says that'll be all now, and she's looking forward to dinner.
