I like the mechanics and stuff a lot I just don't love the flavour. like in tabletop you can reflavour it a bit at your dm's discretion, I know a popular one I hear about is the skald, some kind of inspiring warrior poet or whatever, but pretty sure BG3 mechanically kind of forces you into using an actual instrument, and of a fairly limited, archaic set too.
