Ok so I just started playing this game, should I be buying crops and soil with my coins or just purely spend on the gacha for now?

Stage 2 says 2x attack is recommended. does that mean I need to roll 10 duplicates for a character or something else?

Kiara was easy mode with all the shields and stuff but I died around 15 minutes with Mumei, I thought these types of games looked boring but surprisingly fun

Is this a bug? Not sure.
GWS is supposed to give crit while special bar is not full, but the display in the pause menu shows it as not giving the crit bonus a few seconds BEFORE the bar is fully filled and ready to be used.
Hard to tell if just a display bug or actual bug.

Please note that I haven;t played Ina in this version so I only judge her based on previous version
IRyS >>> Ame > Mori = Fauna > Ina
IRyS got stupidly busted last patch with tons of healing and crits + she can aim not just left or right.
Ame also got aim change + stamp system improved her a lot (UsaKen stamp turns her into 2nd best DPS character after Bae).
Mori always had stupidly simple but good passives, too bad scythe quickly falls off as damage-dealing weapon even with explosion proc (so you need to compensate it with DPS collab ASAP)
Fauna has so much healing and i-frames that you don't need to pick any other healing / defensive item, but her base weapon is so-so (so you basically build her as pure damage dealer while her passives cover the rest)
Ina was fine by itself, but she never felt OP or bad - she was just in the middle, and I guess compared to launch version of HoloCure she's nowhere near as good (but maybe it changed in current version, I've yet to pay her)

Feels kind of bad, I can't be bothered to chase the ball to keep bouncing it when I'm too focused on dodging
>Lightning Wiener
It's okay, though it might not be worth it to lose out on Dragon Fire as a single target DPS collab weapon
>Subaru Sausage
Feels like an inferior BL Fujoshi since it has a downtime, but the knockback is pretty good
>Crescent Bardiche
It's okay, not sure if it's worth making this if it meant losing out on Micomet since it's one of the good collab weapons
>Ice Queen
Really good, definitely my go to super collab
>Sacred Flame and Idol Live
Not sure how they are damage wise, but they crowd the screen too much, can't see shit with all the weapon effect, especially with Idol Live
>Jingisukan
Might be good for certain characters

I wish we had damage numbers at the end of the level so it's easier to compare the collab weapons.

IThere should be a pretty big gap between Ame and Ina, since Fauna and Ame actually deal pretty good damage and with the reworked greed stamp, it makes sense they can make a lot of money

Reminds me of Bloodstained where people complained that the game was "too easy" so devs nerfed a few good weapons and shards while keeping a bunch of other OP stuff untouched
They also nerfed easy material gain through disassembling so instead players had to waste much more time on manual material grind.

I probably wouldn't use Jingisukan. It doesn't seem bad but the problem is losing Sheep, and if I'm using Sheep it's so I can survive Yagoos for as long as possible. If I'm running around all over the place, I can't benefit from the heal aura. 6 HP a second with Full Meal is practically nothing.

I'm still fucking mad about the nerf to buying Alkahest. It made it completely unfeasable to buy it in any worthwhile quantity, so you had to waste time farming Alkahest itself, or farming materials to make valuable weapons to sell to buy Alkahest at the massive markup. Also TIS FUCKING ROSAIN literally broke the entire game and they never touched it.

anybody manage to get a 100 combo in the fishing minigame? idk why but sometimes it feels like my inputs just don't read right
i've been grinding up to 1mil for the final fishing rod but the closest i've gotten was like 88 or so. i'm wondering if i should switch to a lower level rod but i'm not even sure if the combo difficulty scales with the fish

total newfag at this game, but i wanna ask if rogue builds are a thing in this game? i remember way back on a high-rate ragnarok server where ASPD assassins were rampant, i made an anti build using a high priest that's designed to tank their damage while the Meteor Storm from my Dark Lord boots spam procs then i watch them fall like flies after getting dropped millions of rocksat them at the same time. so yeah, a built that's out of the ordinary, but very viable on niche situations.

you mean chance based procs per attack? I mean there are some mechanics like that like Suiseis tetris blocks and the usaken stamp, but they're more there to round out a kit as compared to being the central piece.
If you want a defensive version (enemy attacks you and you proc) try Matsuri with her God ability

it seems to grant higher probabilities to lower quality fish with is probably good for the management, i've also seen more axolotls than with the other rods. i was hoping for more shinies but i haven't seen a single one after about 150 catches
it's probably good for grinding coins but kind of underwhelming imo

Yes and no. Certain characters have "unusual" forms of scaling(as another anon said Fauna is a good example because she builds heavily around healing herself to deal damage) but that's about as much as you're going to get. What you want sort of exists but it's deliberately built into the game to help characters feel distinct but at that point it's not exactly a build off the beaten path, is it?

I was messing around with cursed balls and found out the direction the balls bounce when you kick them depends on which way you're pointing. Also, if you run away from it while it moves away from you, you bring the wall towards it, which brings the ball to you rather than making you chase it. Combined that with size enhancement and milk with a nearly speed-maxxed Kronii and at one point I was juggling 5 balls in Shubangellion's face. Now I just have to make sure my next try involves all speed enhancements and a double size enhancement.

Do you wait until you get a blue weapon (the ones with bonus stats) or do you just grab them the moment they drop?
It feels like I keep sabotaging my run by purposely delaying getting a collab weapon until I can get the blue version, sometimes I couldn't get one until the 15+ minute mark because of bad RNG.

Growth got a huge buff by letting you buy the upgrade 2 more times in the shop, so instead of just a static +1% damage per level to special and main weapon it can become +2% and +3%. By level 63 you will be getting an extra +126% damage over the previous growth, which combined with solo stamp is more damage than you had previously.

What I really like in holocure is how the characters have their own playstyle and gimmick. The last time I played VS all the characters play exactly the same.

I think you can only cook one type of food and if you don't use it then the next meal you make replaces the previous one. Basically you can't have more than one meal prepared.

Yes. You should get started on the HoloHouse stuff ASAP. Workers were pretty substantially buffed compared to the early access from what I've seen(much cheaper to get started and faster currency generation?) and the stat buffs you can get from food are a massive help early on(I'd recommend speed because default speed is going to throttle your ability to progress on many characters, especially if you want to start taking Halu for coin farming). Fishing is great in general since it's tied to both food buffs and currency.

Nah, it's just there for player customisation, it's why there are options in there to make it harder too. Some people cry about games having a baby mode, but it's better for building an audience to let people ease in and challenge themselves over time rather than just forcing everybody to play hard mode and deal with it.

The problem with fishing is that it's WAY too strong for new players who have 0 upgrade.
With 0 upgrade you most likely can't do the usual halu 5 + greed + solo weapon farming strat, but even players who have 0 shop upgrade can just go to holohouse, do the fishing minigame and get easy money to upgrade their stuffs without actually playing the game.

They nerfed fishing, fish sold less than they were in early access so yeah it's back to Irys. Now you can also eat Fruit Sandwich(Wheat+Strawberry) for another 30% coins multiplier.

Am I crazy or is Anya possibly an infinite character? Her sleep debuff is MASSIVE. I don't know yet how much it slows Yagoo but it feels like any attack that does AOE combined with her slow would just mow down everything.

Her weapon is really slow, has a smallish hit area and is one attack per attack so it can only trigger 1 usagi explosion each. No way is she going to be great at farming.

You can outrun them until about 38 minutes with Broken Dreams, depending on how much speed you stack. Stun and run should be a viable way for any character to reach 40, even before you take new items and weapons into account.

She's hillariously stupidly balanced to play.
Weird playstyle wise, I do like playing Zeta, she plays like a safer Bae. Bae feels like living on the edge at all stages of the game so I rarely play her, although I wanted to do silly builds with her ult.
Moona plays like a cooler Sana. Korone rushdown playstyle is underrated.
Man I need to play more Gamers too, I just don't have time to learn them all.
