I haven’t tried Hard 3 yet, but in some ways Hard 2 is easier than Hard 1. In Hard 1 the enemies come from all sides while in Hard 2 it is just right and left.

pretty much yeah, and the boss almost always outpaces the mob who die in the front fast anyway. so its feels pretty useless unless you're kiting, and even then you need to 'mark' the boss first.

Oh I see now. I'm kind of hoping they will rework the hunger system so it doesn't continue to use common fish the higher level the workers. So those of us going for golden rod can just switch to beginner rod and use those catches exclusively for sand. Or maybe a way to pay coins to swap what the worker currently wants.

Kusogaki needs tons of speed, beetle and a good array of weapons. If you're trying to do some weird ass tanky stuff or solo weapon shenanigans, don't. Just get headphones and try to grab a full roster of weapons, as her Special gets incrementally more damage the more weapons you have equipped. Good candidates for weapons are stuff like Idol Live, Asacoco (and any collabs/variations of those). Knockback and any form of control is also strong, as Shion has very little inbuilt options for those.

Teleports are really annoying, you could rework them to instead teleport enemies away (kind of knockback), then damage them. No more AoE on them (Garlic already serves as AoE), but you could spawn more of them at once (like up to 5)
Garlic isn't really that bad, final radius is pretty forgiving.
Easy fix for ultimate - let player to press the button again to instantly drop when you just want to deal damage.
Maybe add synergy with teleports to make them shoot bolts every time you hit them with your main? When you hit any teleport it stops your bolts, but all of them shoot out the same amount of bolts.

Solo weapon plays mostly all the same in Vampire Survivor, but not here thanks to each character having its own identity. Your solo Irys and solo Suisei are completely different.

The garlic and teleports are fine as is, they are already a ridiculous source of damage and if you can spend the last 1.5 minutes setting up, you can just place teleporters off screen and juggle between two safe spots, it's even better on scrolling stages. My biggest gripe with Shion is the fact that her Special is tied to weapon limit, meaning that full weapon limit guts her special damage, making certain types of runs very limiting for her.

Not really, since they spawn under you and will teleport you around due to that when you are trying to stay still.

I've never come across the later stages where you stand still, unless you're playing some AFK style and Shion simply doesn't work that way. The entire point of the teleporters is to work in a way where you're constantly switching between two points of the stage (unless you're doing patterns) and chipping away at the enemies that were close to you via the teleporter you left, then they have 8 seconds to haul their ass towards you and the process then repeats. In some stages, with proper play you can technically put so much space between your teleporters that they'll only increase in value as endless rolls towards 30 minutes (and above)

How am I supposed to use Anya's sleeping channel properly? It seems strong as hell but I can't seem to figure out how to really abuse it.

This seems the most useful, but probably synergizes better with a fullscreen glass cannon collab build, then the melee collab build her other passive pushes her towards?
If she's next to a crowd of enemies strong enough to want to slow time, they're also probably fast enough to get on top of her and ruin her stacks if she stops for 1 sec.

Only thing that seems really abusable so far is just chaining tank build naps -> invuln special -> chain right back in before the special ends, but now that Piman is changed that just seems like it'll be the slowest Endless run known to man

Her rainclouds aren’t bad at all, especially early on, and her special is good. Her weapon isn’t that bad really, all those drops really improve the performance compared to some melee characters.
The only real issue is getting her tantrum and Praise to work together. Unfortunately neither is very strong.

Is it worth playing around the stacks?
It feels like you're wasting the built-in healing/massive damage reduction if you don't do a tanky or damage-trading build, and after a certain point in Endless the stack mechanic is presumably permanently gone (unless sleep can actually somehow keep the Yagoos off you? but pretty sure they'll close the distance instantly within the 2sec cooldown)

Interesting, so you can just use Glasses/Piman to scale her damage so high that the 70% damage reduction doesn't matter?
I'm assuming you locked it to three weapon slots to get the Super Collab and bail. Is pumping levels into raw attack still better than grabbing more collabs (even with Piman/Glasses scaling), or was it just to get her max HP as high as possible?

I just did a run as Hachama where I had my attack stat pumped basically as high as I thought it could go. 260% base, and with 45% from Glasses, 80% from Injection, 65% from Piki, 1.3x from Gorilla, and I still get to the 30 minute mark and the Yagoos instantly kill me despite being able to basically afk up until that point. On the leaderboards, I still see people pushing 35+ minutes. Am I missing something in regards to actually getting attack high enough to clear or is this just bullshit and the thing to actually do is forsake attack entirely and just get all survivability items?

Honestly it was my first endless run with Anya and just planned on taking the most damage reduction + trying to outheal with the super collab. Probably wasted a lot into speed because I was scared of mobs between 25-30 mins and wasn't sure if I could outheal the damage.

Anon me saying stat pumping doesn't mean you need to go all in to %Atk, even getting Injection Asacoco in the process. If you want to do that then the usual 4 collabs will get you further.
This is kinda obvious, but solo weapon even with Piman and Solo Stamp will never outdps a 3 collabs+1 super collab run. You need to find a balance of HP and Atk so you stay alive as long as possible while still making it possible to kill the Yagoos nearest to you.
So to summarize:
>Character has innate sustain skills
Go solo weapon and pick survival items
>Character doesn't have innate sustain skills
Go glass cannon and kill bunch of them before you die

I don't think you can outlive the Yagoos with Jingisukan alone if the character has no sustain skill, anon. For example try running it on Mori, even with Headphones and Full Meal she will most likely dies around 30~31 min mark to Halu powered Yagoo.

I mean, yeah, I did do four collab weapons. I had Jing for regen and max HP bonus for the Piki, then Inhale IceWave and Concert. Last item was Plushie because I thought Jing + Plush + her passive damage reduction and heal would be enough to sustain, assuming that I was actually able to kill the Yagoos, but I got killed instantly despite plush and 275 HP. This is what makes me think there isn't really a combination of attack items that will cause her to kill fast enough and that you should just go all defensive/knockback

275 HP really isn’t enough, when I play Subaru or Kiara, I’m pushing at least 500-700. You really need to use anvils to pump your weapon of choice. Even just a +10 weapon lets you kill Yagoos for a while. Stamps can also help with survivability since there’s extra sources of stuns, heals and damage that can help. That said, the benefits you get from weapon upgrades vary. Multi-hit melee gets the biggest boost from them, although that weapon type isn’t very common.

Actual collabs between characters. I know they already used the idea of collabs for the weapons but it would be cool if you could pick a second character that functions like Bubba/Friend/etc, running around with reduced power. And specific combinations of characters could give you certain bonuses. This could be a separate mode like Time Attack if they don't want to change the core game too much.

Or straight up multiplayer of course, but that might be a tall order.

You'd be surprised at how high you can get with Super Glasses, Labcoat, and Super Limiter. Doesn't necessarily mean you get super high score from that though.
Also for Choco it's not exactly this game, but in this 0.6 update. The addition of Jingisukan and Beetle gives her the ability to never die with her innate critical heal while demolishing everything around her with the constant base 400% Crit Damage. She only needs to pump level up in HP and Atk.

I'm actually curious about how it scales. Since anvils interaction with projectiles was nerfed, multi-hit melee weapons would be the go-to for a super weapon. +31 Kiara sword is fucking disgustingly strong, so I wonder if the sausage could be crazy at lategame too.

Hard 3 has finally been defeated with Mr. Koro. I'm really glad I looked on the thread to see how important grabbing stats and main weaponry was. I wish I could have just rejected the level up weapons towards the end since I had the solo badge on. Also, you really need fucking Halu on these later difficulty levels just to get enough XP to put up a fight.
