Did you ever hear the tragedy of Hololive vSinger IryS the Hope? I thought not. It’s not a story that the clip watchers will tell you. It’s a HoloEN legend. After Hololive Myth graced us with their presence ushering a new era of vtubing, there was clamors for more vtubers. Who should follow was IryS the Hope descending from up high and crashing through the floor. But she was by her lonesome without a gen of her own but that was the least of her problems. She was hideously disfigured with a model that did not fit in the image of Hololive. She was an aberation of sorts and people questioned her creator’s decision and artistic sense. They tried to cope with saying she was a dork but she was more like a common gacha roll you’d find in any chinese game. Skin dark and light at the same time that you thought she was the reincarnation of Michael Jackson. She trudged along and Council came into the picture taking away her light. In fact, she used light to hide her darken skin that it became a rumor until proven true when a Council member Bae the Rat of Chaos shown brighter like she was on the surface of the sun. IryS hated her looks over time as her followers dwindled and it seemed all hope was lost until something changed.
Sana the Eternal was no longer eternal and would depart to the gacha cloud and artist alleys in the sky. A void in the Council was open and she was daring and willing to take it. This was when CouncilRyS was formed. She formed familial and romantic bonds with the rat. She embraced CGDCT and embraced her fondness of pon-ness. A match made mating press of love that even Takamori would even envy. She would grow stronger with this as more miracles would come her way. She would be granted a redesign that would give her the lighter complexion she so desired and fit within the image of her Hololive senpais. She’d get that long delayed outfit to wear. An anniversary where she would sell a most specatular ring. She’d get her 3D showcase where she’d flop around like a fish and do sexy princess poses while singing oh so well despite what people may have said about her views. And then, in eternal lovelock with Bae hold hands on stream as they announce the 3D showcase of Council and a special collab and all seemed right with the world. Who knew tragedy would stike in a form of an evil deal. And evil deal with the devil that commands Blizzard and Activision on their broken game products in the form of a tournament with holostars. Overwatch 2 the most derrided game for broken promises and just not really beinga good game. It was rated poorly the steam denizens and trounced by HoloCure in no time flat. Why IryS chose to take this deal was never clear but the ramifications were immense. The unicorns tried to cope with the words of the bird Lui that they will not talk to each other but the true unicorns knew that all was lost. IryS the Hope lived a rough a tragic life until she came unto Hololive and it seems even though she still faced many obstacles with many glimpses of miracles to keep her along the way, Hope is but a fleeting thing and what lies after is only despair.
