And like other anons pointed out, Day 2 is going to have more eyes than it would before, with some people who wouldn't buy a ticket breaking, and now for EU and SEA / JP this is an all day event. They're probably getting royally fucked on operating costs of their cloud build to make sure they don't lose day 2. A few extra login servers is a few thousand for the next 2 days, but the monetary loss from day 1 is easily in the millions in just refunds, before secondary damages for not delivering.
