Stage 4 feels insane even with just level 1 Halu. It recommends having level 4 attack and level 4 speed, but that recommendation might as well just fucking say level 8 for each of them. Zomrades and Zeta's fat fuck cat things are ridiculously tanky.
Recommended build for Kiara on stage 4? I'm trying to beat it with her and I'm finding it fucking impossible for some reason.

Make sure to refund advertisement if you got it
Also go for a tanky build like fauna or irys, most people die to the projectiles so that can help mitigate that

I got it in a few minutes after I got the golden rod.
But I hate fishing, so I just let the game run while I was at work and overnight so I could pick up and sell the fish the other girls caught instead of playing the rhythm game myself. Took about a week to get enough fish for the golden rod.

Nadoka is raping me with her bullet spam, I'm thinking of switching to a ranged character like Ame. I was playing Kaela main weapon only so I can stat boost myself but Nadoka's bullet spam leaves me very few openings to get hits in. Refresh my memory, does Ame's slow time special work on bosses?

Melee characters can handle Nodoka so long as you time your offense to when she's floating around spamming the beam. Get too close during bullet spam and you take like 10 bullets at once the millisecond they spawn in.
Also if you're relying on Horns for healing, keep in mind you've lost the mobs to defeat so are suddenly healing 95% less.

It's hard, but if you meant killing them before they touch you then you need Super Superchat and Greed stamp pretty early in the game. That's the only item that enables you to theoretically scales infinitely.

Nobody knows the exact rate but it's pretty low. Hard 3 gives you a free box at the start of the game though so if you want to tryhard for leaderboards then you pick it up and reset instantly if it's not the super item. Just beware of your food running out with too many resets.

Most likely not. Beetle is a flat damage increase, so it's added on to a skills normal damage. Deez doesn't do any flat damage, only %HP damage, so there is no flat damage portion for it to add too.

Forgot to add that if it does, it wouldn't affect the %HP portion anyway. You'd just end up with "100% Damage + %HP" so it would be a minor increase comparatively.

Thankfully my workers are all at max level and only ask for basic shit like lobsters and potatoes. Though I didn't know the highest level cap they can reach is level 50, mine are all in the 30s range except two guys who are both at 47.

This is false. For pretty much every weapon that has a high haste cap it's a pretty big damage gain overall and a substantial gain with shackles.

This assumes you know how each weapon is affected by haste though. If you don't you can fuck yourself over.

Nah it's bad. It's equivalent to 12 levels of Haste up and the dps increase is roughly 8 levels of Attack up so you're better off getting glasses and using the extra levels to get both haste and attack up, you should get at least 20 or 30 extra levels from glasses alone. Both Face Mask and Gorilla Paw offer better dps and if you can crit consistently the Soda is also a better option.

You deal roughly 77.5% of your original damage(75% original damage with with 10% chance to deal 24.75% original damage on second attack), but you get 60% Haste. The question is will the 60% Haste contribute to more than 22.5% of damage increase? Because if not then there's literally no point in picking the item. Personally I don't like it since in Endless you can pretty much consistently get to at least 100% Haste from level up alone which is the break point to halve weapon attack time for those which can be lowered.

Yeah, Hard 1 was released a long time ago so it was balanced around the upgrades/benefits available at the time. A ton of alternative forms of scaling have been added since then so it's actually easier than newer non-hard stages despite having a higher upgrade recommendation. It doesn't have buff/debuff enemies and enemy movement speed is relatively slow compared to newer stages. All it really had going for it at the time was more stuff to dodge.

Sweets is useful on Jingis healing damage builds, since the extra haste will mean extra healing fields which mean extra heals and extra attacks.
You'd still probably want Kusogaki for that though since the 0.75x damage also impacts your heal damage, and it isn't worth it in endless where you're going to get more than enough haste anyway.

I think I realised that I might have been being retarded and completely misinterpreting how Beetle affects skill damage. If we which of these is the right if we say it's at level 3 and the character is level 100 so it increases by 200%, would that be:
1) it works a multiplier to skill damage, so makes a 50% damage skill deal 150%, or a 500% damage skill deal 1500%
2) its additive to the % listed in the skill tooltips, so it would make a 50% damage skill deal 250% and a 500% one deal 700%

The real value of the item lies in adding +30% crit to ranged/multishot weapons. Of the 27 collabs present in the game, only 6 of them don't qualify as either. Meaning it's basically just sake, but gives more crit and is always active, and gives DoT too, because why not. You basically always want it even if your main weapon is melee unless you're doing a main only run or you really, REALLY don't care about crits.

It's addition. This game is weird, in that % increases are almost always additive, while 1.x is used for multipliers (But only for positives). Currently Gorilla Paw, Face Mask, Devil Hat, and anything that affect crit damage are the only items that add multiplicative damage. Everything else is additive

Simple stat buffs wouldn't work. They'd need different attack patterns and to have everything accelerated. For example A-Chan has a deadzone in her bullet hell pattern and her clockwise bullet spam is extremely easy to dodge and leaves her vulnerable for an excessive period of time.

Even a massively increased Halu multiplier wouldn't do anything to change that. Make the bullet hell patterns more complex, make the clockwise sweep into a windmill pattern and have her move in a fixed pattern during, etc.

Honestly, I hate the glasses, but this is speaking from a perspective of endless. The problem with it is that it doesn't stack with bonus damage modifiers. It's deceptive. Your projectile attack might do 1000 damage, but the glasses only do 100 damage per tick or so, which would be 500 damage over 5 seconds. That's nothing.

I used to think Zeta is good (just means S1-S2H are easier) but spending some time on S3H with max marketing I died several times in the beginning until this time I survived getting a collab which afterward was smooth except for some butt pucker near-death moments since I didn't choose a second defensive item. No way I'm touching Halu. Main weapon's awakening effect is nothingburger. Special is a screen wipe with a collab (this isn't saying much) but during cooldown you better not relax. Fubuki's skills are more consistent both defensively and offensively. Playing Zeta is "your weapons hit harder sometimes and you get to level up more".

So Korone gets 30% damage reduction skill, add that the super body pillow with 15%, super breast plate with 30% and membership with 25% and that adds up to 100%. So theoretically we could make an immortal korone build right? Only problem would be to end the endless run at some point. Maybe getting a face mask after a couple of hours? I wonder.

It's not quite how damage reduction works. It's multiplicative. So if you took all that together, you'd reduce your damage taken by almost 70%.

IMO Haste & Size. Specifically for her hammer, so I always aim for the Boros & Sana Stamps.
She's also the one Holo I'll actually consider the Unit Stamp for, given that I'm not using the main weapon for damage, have a surplus of anvils, and should've already maxed Blacksmith Goggles.
Will add that I'm untouchable until the 20min boss then tend to die in ~20 seconds. So maybe invest in a healing item solely for that moment of whiplash.

Sake's good for characters that don't intend to ever take damage in the first place, like Azki. Basically anyone you want a Bodypillow on, you benefit from Sake on. Especially if their Special is something you want to save for clutch moments (thus losing out on GWS' buff).

This is why the headphones tend to pair better with a damage reduction item since the miss percentage still acts as true 100% damage reduction instead of having lesser impact, though some characters may want to take damage (or want to use the breastplate’s damaging effect).

Rap dog is good on nearly everyone because it is a 1.2x damage multiplier on everything else, but it is indeed extra good on her.
Frozen sea is especially great on her too due to the extremely rapid fire slowing effects. It is a damn shame that the needs to broken dreams in 0.6 included removing the slowing effect from the rain. Now I don’t even bother with it and always use my spider cooking for the buffed eldritch horror or jingis.

I'm really getting curious, how the hell does Subaru's bonus damage on the baseball interact with other damage related bonuses? Because it's so hard to tell, some damage bonuses barely give anything while others shoot her damage really high, and it's confusing the hell out of me.

The weird thing I noticed is that it doesn't feel like it gets fully nullified. You still get a bonus from the attack stamp from what I tried, but I don't know if it's just from the crit damage boost. It's really odd. When I recently tried, the baseballs were hitting about 1300 without it, but the crits at least were hitting 1600. So I don't know.
