Prior to homos Yagoo had been leaning towards an idol-like thing, and yes indeed, Holo did not start out as this originally - however by gen 3 this was his established vision, a group "like akb48" in his own words. The homos were never about trying to force the audience there for the cute girls to put up with dudes, not for holoJP at least, the homos were there to try to give an attempt at getting both male and female viewer demographics since Cover has always always been very (IMO too much) worried about what their perceived rivals are up to and feel compelled to try to "answer" everything. What we see in things like Tempus being shilled under the "holopro" crap and with Horizontal are mission creep. Shit that never would have happened a few years ago but are like a liability that Cover keeps trying to force in just to please.. someone, yagoo I guess, instead of focus on what really really works. Advent and Jap's apparent influences are a good sign however that the company is not choking on its own farts yet with beauracracy and still can be agile to respond and maintain growth. What is interesting is nips on 5ch find out Jap fascination amusing but also they like him too or at least what we believe he represents, some of them even asked for Jap to save the JP branch itself a few weeks ago. Rather interesting they think of their own branch as needing saving to begin with and Jap as the no homos unicorn-friendly guy is what they also openly want.. not horizontal, not uproar etc.
