I'd still have watched a stream or two every week like I did prior, but knowing the kind of setting that they're in with Hololive made me jump hard to them immediately.Giving them the ability to grow and shoot for some of their goals and dreams much in the same vein as Kiara, who I've watched and supported for 2 & 1/2 years. The only difference is that they're still in love with their weeb shit and Kiara dropped pretty much everything except the memories and refuses to engage with anything beyond idol stuff, and even that is slightly less.
Kiara has over the course of the last year to year and a half shown that she really doesn't give a fuck about the anime girl aesthetic anymore. Her comment about trying to 'reach the normies' with an album that will almost entirely be supported by Hololive and her fans where she has very little avenue to actually reach out soured me. It's not that the music is bad, there's some good songs, but the message she sent was loud and clear during her talk about designing the album cover. She wants her passion projects to be distant from the core of an idol otaku, while also being distant from her anime avatar/Hololive to a degree which is depressing, because that's how almost everyone found her and supported her.
