There’s an inherent suspension of disbelief in the use of a vtuber having an avatar, which means it’s somewhere between a 3DPD livestream and an animation. Haachama using that grey area to create a long-form experiential narrative for a live audience, in a way that neither regular livestreaming or animation can deliver is innovative.
