>>57841867Yeah, I was once in a similar situation, but with much more inertia to the habit.
I think it's important to first understand where this comes from.
To stop one's breath is often a naturally occurring practice so that one can focus on a thought or feeling.
However, you must not be fooled by this illusion. You do not need it.
If a burglar comes into your house, you would kick them out.
It could be said to be like a narcissist that wishes you to believe you need them, however, it is actually just a program.
Evolution has built into us several mechanisms to continue negative habits that are believed useful, and stop them only when there's a way greater resistance to the habits. This was very useful back in our caveman days, when one would imagine having compassion for others was very...
But today, it is no longer needed with the exception of allowing us to look at things.
If this feels interesting, you might want to look at anything you feel about your breath stopping.
You might want to see if there's anything bad that could happen if you stop breathing. Maybe, "it inconveniences my life" so "I might be judged by others, even if I'm actually fine with it" so [...]".
If this makes no sense, ignore this part, but you could make this an opportunity to grow.
Any questions appreciated!
