The point of child labor laws is to stop small 9 year old kids from getting crushed to death in a coal mine or killed in a factory assembly plant. It's not to stop late teens who are on the cusp of adulthood from doing simple and safe employment.

Just in case for the retards out here:
-Periods does not mean the teen is mature (some get them as young as 6years old and they are one stupid bunch).
-a teenager can be as much influenceable as a very young child.
-below (and above) the age of 18, kids tend to make many yabs (like join a vtuber agency).
-just because a child works in entertainment legally means they will be doing good later on mentally or unharmed.
-just because a child can work labor work legally doesn't mean they are mature or can decide for themselves.
-prodigy children exists, but do you really think they'll join a VTUBER AGENCY? (Especially a nobody agency).

The girl probably joined an another agency because she has a high ego because predatory man gives that ego to her, but that will just break her because she is getting used (probably sexually).

Kobo debut wasn't so much fuss because the first thing she did was riding motorcycle to Ollie's place, said she was at her senior year of high school, and 'legal'. Which put her at all but obvious age of 17 (we earn National ID around this age, which gave us full legal rights of adulthood)
