>>58000735In all honestly, most of the time this shit amounts to naught, so it's pretty simple. I'm gonna assume you're talking about Stars shit, because numberswise everything is really good at the moment.
Like, the fact of the matter is, we're seeing two conflicting narratives happening. On the Hololive side, we've seen some more shilling for the guys in explicitly corporate fashion, but we're also seeing it fail and not lead to good results. On the Stars side itself, however, we're seeing a cutback of their privileges, a loss of status, and a general culling of their existence, at least on the level that it used to be in 2022's peak for them.
The end result of synthesis for these two narratives? An eventual collapse of support for that branch, but never an actual, full culling. Like it or not, they'll never fire them outright, and like it or not, at least half of them are more likely to latch onto this gig for life than ever give up their (likely only chance at a) stable meal ticket. But with the attempt to shill failing yet again, and consistent incapacity to actualize gains becoming more obvious, it's probably not long for this world as a project that gets shill time.
I think the apex of this is gonna be the next FY2024 Quarterly report. It's gonna be the first one that reflects a Stars branch massively declining in quarterly growth. Once that stat becomes canonized in financial documents, it's probably the end of big shill events with them, because the actual corporate sponsors will see that shit and balk.
