My friend was 15 years old and a brony at the time.
He somehow found himself in a skype call with some memebers of the pony hypnosis community.
They invited him in and he finally found himself surrounded by very smart (but sick) individuals. Since he couldn't connect well with his peers he talked more and more to them, eventually neglecting his other friends.
Later, he got into an online relationship with the head tranny. A narcissistic sociopath with huge charisma. Said person couldn't even sleep without benzos and dabbled in opiates like heroin.
The community finally scattered and succumbed to infighting after this person offed themselves with an overdose of heroin. This fucked my friend up for a long time. He kept all of this to himself and only opened up recently.
The only thing he has to show for it is an almost obsessive knowledge of sleep (REM, lucid dreaming techniques, how biphasic and even triphasic sleep works best), hypnosis, and lifelong trauma.
Was it worth it?
And why the fuck are these communities open to minors?
