Superchats are big colorful chat messages, they are different colors depending on the amount donated. The coveted Red Superchat comes from donating $100 or more, or whatever amount YT decides a red superchat should cost if you aren't a burger.
Membership is a $5/month subscription that you can use to support a channel. Members get a free green superchat every month
You can "gift" memberships to people. Pay 5 dollars and a random person visiting the stream gets a month of membership. Pay 50 dollars and 10 random people get one, and so on. If you want to join membership, press "join" next to the subscribe button. You also have to opt in to receive gifted memberships, for every single channel individually. thanks susan....
