>>59230169>>59230862i appreciate the effort you guys and anyone else put into reading it lol. i love handegg and when the idea came to me it kept me up. it's funny because when i wrote it, i was even like, okay yeah let's just put in really casual knowledge that anyone would know. i'm actually really bad about that. for some reason i'm good at dealing with the curse of knowledge for pretty much everything except football. in my head it always feels like, okay i explained the down system, i explained that plays are run or pass, so they should be ready to learn what the different parts of the field relative to the offense are, then we can talk about the difference between a play action and a read option...
anyway i'm babbling. i'll just finish off by saying it is my unironic dream to one day see one of my favorite chuubas pop up on the jumbotron of an american stadium and it be a completely normal thing. i have this stupid dream in my head that one day an NFL team is gonna have a chuuba mascot along with its normal mascot and cheerleading team. i have a less stupid dream that there'll be a cute football loving chuuba who explains x's and o's for all those nerds who absolutely have what it takes to love football but never had any real on ramp. just fucking imagining it... god. i want it so bad. i want it so fucking bad.
just think about it. x's and o's are hard and complicated and noisy, it's so easy to mix things up. but people sit for hours and hours for zatsudans. it'd be like... the perfect captive audience. i'd watch every stream from start to finish. can you imagine like, the next mike mcdaniel or the next kyle shanahan getting their start watching some chuuba explaining A gaps while making sultry innuendos? can you imagine some cute anime girl with a favorite team doing a watchalong every sunday, or saturday for cfb, screaming at the TV, screaming at the refs, getting all up in arms because of dumbass playcalling, wearing a jersey like subaru? doing breakdowns of the seahawks pats superbowl last playcall in 2014 (i think) and letting this whole new audience relive these insane moments, triumphs and heartbreaks and all? it seriously always makes me shiver just thinking about it.
