>>60145419There's a very simple reason. Closure.
You like Coco or Rushia, or even Vesper or Magni, you can still find their roommates or new identities. Even Aloe pops up rarely.
And with Coco and Rushia, when they left, they had basically done everything anyway. The 3Ds, the merch, the concerts.
Sana left before she got her 3D, got her time on Holofes, and her final month of streams she was running on full power to give a big send off, to fully build up that "you'll miss me when I'm gone" feeling. Her roommate doesn't stream, so it's clear she just decided that streaming wasn't for her and is happier just being an artist. But if you did enjoy her personality, there's nothing filling that void now like the other graduates.
There's another reason I think her fans have remained loyal despite this. I'm fully convinced that Sana was ready to quit in January. But then Valentines Day rolled around and she got such a positive treatment from her fans that she decided to stick with it to the end of her contract at least. After Valentines Day, her content did become far more focussed on the Sanalites. Her merch, her song visuals, her art streams, the Metroid streams where she's covered in fanart. All bread dog focussed. And that's created a loyal following that won't let her go, because she showed enough care for them in those last 5 months that there is a belief she will return in some form one day.
