>>60778454You have four options.
Option #1 is to just purge and reset the uBlock cache. This will usually work. Make sure to disable all other adblockers, as well as YouTube Enhanced which triggers the anti adblocking response as well. However, sometimes YouTube just updated their scripts and uBlock hasn't yet countered the new script, so in those times you will have downtime.
Option #2 is to trick it into thinking you're someone new. It tracks you not by account but by browser fingerprint -- your cookies and other identifiable tracking measures. So, just open the page in a private window and voila, you have a new browser fingerprint and it's no longer being applied to you. You can even sign into your account in the private window and it still won't follow you. You may end up starting the process over again, seeing the nagware message, then the timed message, then the 3 strikes then the "ban", but just open up a new private window and it'll reset again.
Option #3 is to use a different front end to view the site. Literally anything except the main YT page will work -- be it embeds, holodex, mpv, invidious, freetube, you name it, anything that loads the YT video but isn't the YT site is not affected by the anti adblocking campaign.
Option #4 is to just wait it out. There are a lot of reports of YT just giving up on someone after reaching the ban stage if they just keep loading pages for a couple days. I guess YT assumes the user figured out how to circumvent it and won't disable their adblocker, so they decide to not antagonize them any more. This is what happened to me -- I was at the full ban stage, but now I haven't seen the warning for three days and there's no way that's because uBlock suddenly got their shit together.
Also to people not affected -- currently this is probably only hitting 1-2% of the population, so "werks on my machine" is not only useless but actively antagonistic. YT is intentionally rolling this out slowly to try and boil the frog without it noticing. They do this all the time. If you aren't affected, it's because YT hasn't targeted you.
