>>61396106It's pretty easy to pick up and beginner-friendly; you just need to learn spacing and get used to all the different directional "tilt" attacks. There's neutral, left/right, up, and down versions of special, heavy, light attacks, and throws--some characters have unique or better versions of certain attacks, like Ness's back-throw having significantly higher knockback than any other throw (including other character's). Other advanced stuff like using Directional Influence (DI) to avoid KOs or controlling your trajectory when getting knocked back will help at higher levels, but you pick it up pretty intuitively after playing long enough.
