The song is growing on me though, just like Goodbye Declaration it gets better the more I listen to it.

Apparently she was KFP even before that.
Some days ago an anon posted a timestamp to her stream some time before the tournament where she was super happy to be the coach for either Mori or Kiara (it wasn't clear at the time, only that she would work with one of the vTubers).

And now Kiara showed her off in front of 30k viewers.

These two days (Tales of Arise ambassador stream + birthday streams) were probably the highest points in Kiara's career. She got to represent her favorite game series, and she showed how much she had integrated herself in Hololive since she received so many call-ins. This must have been an amazing feeling to say the least.
I'm anxious about the coming days though. Let's face it: whoever is at the bottom of a Hololive generation will always fear the arrival of a new generation that will potentially take away her supporters. Kiara has the most to lose here, maybe Ame as well.
Gura is too popular to be affected, Mori has her music, and Ina's position as the best artist in Hololive will maintain interest even with more girls in HoloEN.

All of EN is performing great it's just that Mori is really strong and Gura is beyond insane.

Kiara also has her language and social skills. Unless they somehow find someone with similar skills willing to be a vTuber she will be fine.
I predict Kiara visiting Japan will always be a big event where she does a bunch of off-collabs and everyone is excited.
Kiara has gotten stronger and stronger since debut but I think we have yet to see her full power.

I feel kinda sad that despite all the collabs, Kiara doesn't really have anyone that really started liking her (besides Nene, but that's literally an IRL friendship) despite the many collabs though.

Ame, Gura and sadly even Mori can't communicate well with the JP holos. And before she build some confidence Ina was the same.
Those four got fangirled hard because that's the only thing the JP holos really could do with them. Meanwhile with Kiara they could just... talk with her.
There was never an aura of mystery and intrigue around Kiara because she would be willing to be friends with everyone immediatly. Meanwhile getting a collab with the rest of EN was like winning the lottery.

People who are still here after many many months aren't just going to up and leave her for the new flavor of the month. Kiara is great, but even I can say it takes a certain kind of someone to want to get into her content and I think its built a really loyal fanbase that won't falter in the face of a new gen. The odds of another 'boom' happening is so slim that I think the ones who will end up having viewers shaved off is going to be Gura. She won't start randomly losing subs, but I think her streaming time being prime for US audience means anyone who takes that spot as well will now start eating into her numbers. Beyond that, the 'trend chasers' are going to jump off the bandwagon sooner or later and it's bound to happen in a looser, bigger community like hers. This post isn't a slight on Gura at all, but I think you're misjudging what popularity can do for someones viewership.
In the end, I don't have any fears for Kiara's viewership and think the strong core that is there is not likely to budge for new options.

I've said it before, but mostly it's just her being so accessable that it sort of kills the hype around her.
The others are shrouded in a mist of mystery as they are more passive and lack the language skills to talk about more than pleasantries and basic interests. With Kiara, you can just write a message to her on discord and she'll respond.
But that also means that over time, Kiara has the advantage. For example, Watame kind of got over her crush on Mori after they've interacted and now she's talking to Kiara more and more, kind of like how Kiara was able to get the nousagi urges out of her system after having a collab with Pekora. Sure, she was still amazed by her appearance today, but you could hear that Kiara was playing the fool with her with a bigger confidence. Given the chance, Kiara will form a good relationship with almost anyone in Hololive that's more than just "I want to meet her so bad". Hell, I'd say she could even pull off great collabs with the holostars.

Birthday was cute overall. Wish I could pick up a couple extras of the KFP Employee ID stickers, but it is what it is. Honestly, that was mostly Ame's fault for butting in with her own suggestion in the first place. I don't know if she actually really likes this shitty drawing game, or wanted to prevent something from the Survive Internet game (which would've been infinetly more kino, gee thanks Ame). And as soon as Ame said it, Kiara basically had to oblige her game, because otherwise she would've looked like a bitch (heh), and didn't want Ame disappointed/sulking.

Oh and before some idiots/eggs out there trying to stir shit with "Kiara's monitor/tablet caused the lag!" (even if it were, that chain of events would still be ultimately caused by Ame's game choice in the first place), see pic related, it was really Jackbox servers shitting itself.

I honestly don't know. Like setting aside "skill" because that's always an annoying argument full of subjective taste, EN already has 3 girls who focus on music a lot and Mori in particular is practically already a V-Singer. Even Ina has an original song coming up and while Ame doesn't have one yet she has fun karaoke and did a Ska version of SSS. I guess on some level it's probably just kinda dealing with stuff initiated in the past since these things are planned out so far and I don't think they expected the EN girls (outside of mori) to do much music stuff.
I think it'll be really difficult for her to take off if she does take a more "AZKi approach" because unless she pumps out tracks like Mori no one is really gonna care if she sings super good if they get a song every couple months and she barely streams.

Obs. we'll never know for sure, but I have a hard time buying it was the servers. Webpage response was fine the whole time.
Even if the servers were dogshit, (and they probably are), I think we'd expect smooth playback followed by stuttering.

Not sure if she was running off her switch (and therefore capture card) or desktop, but if it was the PC version then the monitor change over could've caused it to draw a 4K screen and then downscale to OBS.
Point of that incoherent bullshit, it's not chicken's fault, but it probably wasn't network related.

EN collab was garbage. As expected of jackbox.

And then she even streamed after it, outright taking potential views away from her own song during it "hot" phase.

The vSinger thing is probably a slight debuff as well but honestly not as big a deal as what Kiara herself did to the song.
She could have just announced it during her birthday stream and dropped it one day later when she was taking a day off anyways, maybe teased it with a ??? in her schedule.

I love my chicken wife but she really needs to stop shooting herself in the foot like that.

The IRyS announcement took the wind out of its sail imo. I don't know if it's Cover overlooking her release or Kiara pulling a Titanfall 2 and challenging the announcement head-on, but neither of them are good options.
There also seems to be a merit in the "don't stream on the day of your song release" argument because of how the Youtube recommendation algorithm works and prioritizes livestreams over new video releases in the sidebar.

The problem with the Vsinger debut is that she has not really any choice, if she even knew about it beforehand.
The days between the announcement and the debut are not good but it’s the best she can do.

She knows that as soon as a debut EP or single hits she is getting btfo‘ed and would have to wait a solid month.
Best choice would have been to release the song ASAP but since it’s tied in with the birthday she looses that option too.

I don't think she'll be depressed. SPARKS is growing with a good pace and it's no surprise it can't compete against a cover of a fotm song with the almost best MV in all of Hololive.

Suisei, Mori and/or Gura aren't benchmarks for Kiara in terms of MV views (and maybe Kiara needs to realize it herself).

Her last original song had 500k views after 10 days (even before the shadowban). Let's see how fast SPARKS reaches this goal and then we can compare.

I actually much prefer a large desk mat to a small boob mousepad that barely has any area for me to move my mouse. Though that definitely comes from me playing FPS a lot and being a low sens player. What do you think you'll say to Kiara that could fit in 5 minutes?
I'd probably first talk about how much she's improved my life since joining Hololive and how much enjoyment I've gotten out of her streams. I saw Takanashi Kiara at a grocery store in Vienna yesterday. I told her how cool it was to meet her in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother her and ask her for photos or anything.
