I don't think Ame started to rush, because she thought it was bad, but I think she literally just wanted to go listen to Gura. That was what she was concerned about, when it hadn't finished when Gura started.
Stop trying to think what the developer intended with the game, or stop being mad about a bittersweet romance game being played on valentines. (I'm not entirely convinced Ame didn't have some idea where it was going, Ame often goes "I didn't know!", when it's debatable if she did know.)
If you look at the game just as a story about a certain girl's life, it was good as a story, even if you don't agree with how it went. And the gameplay was nicely immersive, changing with the story and reflecting the emotions of the character in the gameplay.
I really liked to see Ame play it.
