>>63021293Unironically FF7 (original, never played the remake so I don't know how that would be) or FF9. Both aren't particularly grind heavy if you're only playing for the plot and don't care for maxing out everything. I actually enjoyed FF8 but I'm not recommending it due to the Junctioning being dumb, even if it's easy to break to get rid of grinding altogether. She would unironically embrace the cringe in Kingdom Hearts but loldisney.
It's hard to recommend a lot of other RPGs I've played since even if they have a story I think she'd enjoy, the battle systems or whatever else they have maybe a huge filter. She has expressed interest in playing Earthbound and I think she'd be able to handle it if she's familiar with Undertale's inventory system.
She'd probably enjoy the Paper Mario TTYD remake since I'm assuming it would have various QoL fixes to make it more tolerable (mainly being able to skip cutscenes because holy shit does it need it for the final boss alone).
