They aren't "embracing AI".
They aren't being souless.
They are talking about some of the interesting technical details of a project they did as a joke. There is literally zero plans in that blog post to monetize this or expand it beyond what they already did. It's just some engineer nerd at cover talking about how he had fun making AI koyori.

Just go watch clips from the Koyori's AI stream. She presented it as though she made it in her lab. She kept trying to make it say unwholesome things and kept slamming her desk in frustration because it kept basically telling her to go fuck herself. It was a hilarious stream.

Korone is one of the easier one to replace. The amount she doesn't look at the chat and just talks with herself is amazing. It went so bad that one time she didn't notice for 6 minutes that her stream disconnected.
