Anon, what year are you living in? Hololive is already as mainstream as it can get in Japan nowadays, for years there have been TV celebrities discussing who their Oshi is in Hololive, several well known brands have sponsorships and collaborations with them, you can literally walk into any konbini in the country and walk out with a bunch of Hololie products (be it treats, food or goods).
The fact that Senchou is acting in this is not something that will break barriers, it will just be another stepping stone to reaffirm Hololive's popularity in their home country.
Hell even her last two music videos have been screened not only in the Shibuya crossing but also on various big screens around the country.
Whether you like it or not Marine is already a popular celebrity in Japan, sometimes I think that's one of the reasons why she doesn't appeal to coomers as much as she used to.

I don't think Marine will become like that someday (I hope) since she would already show signs of that since famous seiyuu started talking and communicating with her, plus I don't think the fame of a Vtuber is comparable to that of a TV celebrity, that anyone from kids to old people can recognize, to someone who is only visible online to a very specific demographic.

Mocopi are a bunch of sensors that fit in bands on the four limbs, torso and head and don't require some camera to track the wearer's movements, although the technology seems a bit more convenient than a traditional full motion capture suit as we can see in all the Hololive mocopi streams the tracking is still not very good.
I hypothesize that the avatar's movement goes haywire because the sensors must have some gyroscope that determines the position in which the avatar is positioned and when the wearer sits down or leans a bit the tracking goes haywire.

Modern relationships in Japan are tending less to look like this over time, there's a pretty large range of relationship 'styles' or 'models' going around now. It helps for example that overtime culture is getting owned pretty hard in Japan over the last decade or so, the ministry of labor is actually enforcing the rules and it's having a pretty noticeable effect.

But even then since Marine is quite young so she would have been used to a very different style of relationship in her 20s. She didn't get to enjoy the promiscuous casual dating culture of Uni since she never went to Uni, but she has talked about being on the seller's side at Comiket, living off of art comissions and trying to be a mangaka on stream before, so she would be more used to the starving artist independent contractor dating circles.

God knows what she actually wants out of a relationship now though. Probably not that much, and just wants to focus on being a mother.

Marine has been a very independent woman since she was practically still a teenager, so I don't think she would be very dependent on a husband, maybe to have a little emotional support from him on those days when she gets hit by hormones and is depressed or has mood swings, I stand by my perception that she would probably do her own thing while her husband does his, let's not forget that she is a workaholic.
Despite everything Marine has never given me those vibes of her being super lovey dovey and wanting to have her partner glued next to her all the time, but who knows

Not all mangaka have insane deadlines and maximally packed schedules like those who have to draw for a weekly magazine.
Since she has experience selling stuff at comiket she probably has been in some pretty robust artist social circles. There's a strong communitarian quality to event-market doujin manga culture.

You're thinking of Warabe, who was Reol(the woman marine always refers to as "kashu no onna")'s video director/editor back in the day, and who also did the video editing for Ahoy, Unison, and Maribako, as well as more recently the original Ui version of Loli Kami Requiem.

I think that's actually someone she knows from her Niconico days though, funnily enough. Marine and Reol did basically the same kind of content on the site after all and had intersecting circles.

Shukkou is to this day Marine's fastest orisong to 1M, if we're talking about Shinkiro being garbage off of its performance compared to Shukkou while we're in this 1M to 2M range then literally all of Marine's songs are garbage

The issue with Shukkou is that it never developed legs, it's unclear how Shinkiro will compare on that front for now. Probably it'll do better since everyone who would have been repeat-watching Shukkou had already been doing it for a month when they watched the 3rd fes vods, and since Shinkiro is the full version rather than the shortened version it makes it a lot easier to actually use the MV just to listen to the music.

She never was, she's probably the vtuber with the most dead subscribers, I hate to sound like a monkey out of /#/ but her CCV count on average was never higher than any other of the more famous HoloJP's except maybe in the first 2 or 3 months after her debut.
I honestly find it bizarre that Marine decided to specifically choose her to do a high budget animated MV together and not someone for example from her own generation and yeah I know she has said she loves Gura's voice on different occasions but I didn't think that was enough to do a project of this magnitude with her, either this is another passion project that she knew wouldn't get the same traction as her previous MVs or It was a terrible mistake of overestimating Gura's fame on Marine's part.
