>>63267688Sometimes the issue people commonly overlook is that you can tune any power, no matter how minor, to massively overpowered levels by just arbitrarily granting the user a superior degree of control, awareness, knowledge, and magnitude or range that is just commonly handwaved as being 'part of the power'. Like how the lactokinetic from Misfits could give someone a stroke by using milk-derived deposits in his blood.
In any case most people who argue over these things have it backwards. Whether comics, manga, or anything else, writers know you come up with a cool scenario first then work backwards to use the powers to justify the scenario, not try and lay out the powers in detail and hope that like solving a bunch of math equations they logically resolve into cool scenarios for you. And of course the worst thing is when you work from the powers to justify cool things NOT happening.
