Things like the Nobeta and Muse Dash incidents have kept on causing public awareness of the Taiwan problem, and I've even seen people that were influenced by Coco's graduation, take part on Discord exodus due to the Tencent question.
It was terrible for the fans, for sure. But the aftereffects were a good thing for the world.
