1) Ame burned out and, later, so did Gura and Ina. At the same time, Mori lost focus and strayed away from Hololive for a while
2) HoloEN management clearly had a different plan for HoloEN away from “Hololive, but in English”
I think the biggest symptom of that was EN management “chasing away” Haachama overture over HoloEN by explicitly telling her to stop using #HoloEN0, and by kicking her out of the EN Minecraft server.
One of the most endearing things I remember from those days was Gura doing a “housewarming” prank on Haachama by egging her house, and Haachama misunderstanding it as Gura gifting her chickens.
Management REALLY fucked things up back then, thankfully not in an irredeemable way
