Dmitri Jap seems to get along with Gura and the way HoloEN talks about new management they like him more than the previous manager. He does seem concerned with fixing the EN branch and vaguely mentions that Cover is slowly making changes. No one can say what those changes are but after the huge redesign fights with Tempus it's not hard to guess why contract renewals seem to get heated.

I aint a chumbud, but I remember that stream vividly, her eyes changed that day, less expressive when chat hollared at her to not cheapen her content. I felt like the witness to something horrifying, the crowd overpassionate yet oblivious. I saw what Gura saw that day, a mob and their insufferable weight. I don't blame Gura for choosing to disappear. I hope she is a lot happier being free of those crazy circumstances. Maybe her love of streaming will come back, but I will always remember those broken eyes.

I was there during that stream too, and the amount of no she got kind of heart broke her a bit. She wanted to become like pikamee and mouse but Chumfucks that day sucked the soul out of her. He hasn't fixed everything 100% no, but he took something that was probably past the 50% mark of broken and on the way to collapse and healed it back up to like 80-90% at least at the moment. That's a better state for modern holoEN than any of us thought a year ago at this time. Back then the future was only slated to get gloomier and basically the only things it really-has gotten worse with was Gura of all things ironically, but the thing is, last year she was starting to generally fuck off from streaming too anyway, it's not a Jap-only syndrome. Thing is even though he can fix so much I guess Gura is too broken to fix even from him.
