>>66874151The problem is rarely who they are as people, it's how they react to what kind of fanbase naturally gravitates toward them. Vox wanted to be a typical gamebro with a majority male audience and have FNAF and Smash autism fits on stream, while Mysta was quoting stuff with 90% male audiences like Oneyplays and Sleepycabin in his first week. But their fanbases ended up being primarily women, so they changed their content to reflect that.
You basically have to find male vtubers that haven't nurtured that kind of fanbase from the beginning, which usually means looking outside corpos like Uwu_to_owo (barely even considers himself a vtuber) or LordAethelstan (supplanted his girlfriend's fanbase). There are exceptions among corpo males that theoretically appeal to a general audience and their content isn't affected by the gender of who is watching (Bettel, Vanta), but rarely will you see one that doesn't give even a subtle nod to the sisters watching them. Like, there's a reason it was believable that Vesper had a majority male fanbase.
