That's just your personal preference. While singing skill is measurable, things like feel and emotion are completely an opinion. I personally can't stand Gura's singing. She sings every song the exact same way and refuses to use her head voice or belt, it's always chest chest chest unless it's a song she's practiced. The lack of risk taking in her singing is infuriating and makes her karaokes boring.

The reason why you guys hate irys is because she's too solid. She sings Japanese songs the way they're meant to be sung. What you guys want is for her to give her "spin" on the song , like Mori, Gura, Mumei, Fuwamoco do in singing different instrumentals keys and versions while adding their own flare and adlibs. I have no counterargument as to why irys just sings the song as intended and doesn't take risks, but it is what it is
