The voice didn't actually even bother me, it was the sheer laziness of it. She spent 95% of it talking to people she already knew on twitter instead of actually trying to advertise herself in any way. I didn't really give a shit about her being trans, but the fact that she managed to hype herself up so much but didn't actually give a shit about cultivating an audiance beyond a small twitter clique really annoyed me, it was like a masterclass in how not to debut.
