She went to a concert with Holomen last week, the artist was King Gnu. She is member of the official fan club and managed to win the ticket lottery around November and got four tickets. She invited Mio, Rui and Irys to come along with her. She knew Rui would be interested because she sang a song by them before. She randomly met Irys in the studio and asked her if she liked the band and she did, so she told her about the tickets and she was interested. This is the first time she went to hang out with Irys. Mio had recently expressed interest in the artist as well, so she invited her, too. She said it was hard to meet up in front of Tokyo Dome, there were too many people and entrances all around the avenue. Most of them hadn't been to an actual band concert before and were wondering if they should bring penlights and stuff like that because they are only used to idol concerts. They got muffler towels and Shirakami bought a sweatshirt as well. The live was great. She thought there were many aspects of the stage that they should also consider for their lives. During calls for an encore, everyone used their smartphone flashlight instead of a penlight, which they found very interesting. She talked a lot about the secret special guest, Shiina Ringo. Mio was a big fan and wanted to go to a concert before, but never managed to get tickets so she was very exicted and could hardly believe it was her. Apparently, she took off parts of her clothes while seeing and exposed her shoulders, which Shirakami found very exciting. She said this was the kind of eros she could never attain, and admired her for her courage.
She has been watching the American cartoon Hazbin Hotel lately. She said there is a lot of swearing, violence and erotic content, she considers one episode borderline R18. She summarized the story and what she liked about it, but recommended not to watch it in the living room in front of your parents.
The next topic she talked about is old phones, specifically slide phones, and how she thinks they are pretty cool and also cute, especially those where the screen can rotate on an axis. She said she got interested in them lately and wants one, even though she supposedly never used one before. She likes how different and customizable these phones were and how schoolgirls at the time decorated them with straps and stuff and wished they still made them. She's also interested in older cameras like analog ones or polaroid and would like to use one.
The fox meme were her manager's idea because cat memes were popular lately and she had already done the chipichipi chapachapa stuff on Twitter before. She intends to do a more of them in the future and would be happy if we use it to make memes.
The Doroken official channel stuff was recorded a long time ago. She talked about some stuff that happened in it but I didn't understand much because I lacked the context as I haven't seen it yet.
Someone asked her to draw Poyoyo and she did, but kind of forgot how its face looked like, which she felt kind of embarrassed about because she was the one that invented it in the first place. She didn't really remember how to draw Hatotaurous either, it's been a long time since she made it. She tried to draw it from memory but the first few attempts ended up looking very different from the original. Someone said they want a Sukonbu mug so she made up a creepy design on the spot. I kinda want it.
>>68342729I don't want to sound like one these people you are talking about, but you might want to check out the pastebin in the OP of this thread that I wrote like two years ago if you haven't already. There's probably better guides out there in general, but I tried to explain my experience with learning in order to understand Fubuki in detail and how I did it and put some resources in there. It does take time and the beginning is slow, but it's hard to judge if you are doing something "wrong" or in an inefficient way without knowing what exactly you are doing. In the first couple of months I would focus on a bunch of pre-made decks at first so you can build a decent base. Sentence mining only makes sense if you have an actual base vocabulary, otherwise it will be difficult to find comprehensible sentences because everything has like 8 new words. Grammar is not super important in the beginning, you don't need to frontload it and understand everything 100%, but having read a guide helps. You can just look up Grammar points as you encounter them later. You will pick up most of it as you go over time. The learning curve is steep but once you are over the first bump, it gets really fun because you will understand more and thus enjoy Japanese content more, which will in lead to you wanting to consume more of it, through which you will in turn learn more. Definitely try to stick it out and don't give up just because the beginning is difficult.
